Iris Promise blends the soothing hues of purple, green, and gold to create a brand that radiates warmth, healing, and hope. We aim to create a nurturing atmosphere where individuals feel safe, valued, and inspired to reclaim their health and dignity.
Our Story – How Iris Promise Began
In January 2025, a free medical clinic was held in Jamaica. It was meant to serve a small group, but the need was staggering. Lines wrapped around buildings. Supplies ran low. People came from distant parishes for basic wound care, pain relief, and nutritional help.
It was clear: this wasn’t just a one-time effort—it was the beginning of a mission.
Donna Wilson, a skilled nurse from South Florida and daughter of Iris Plunkett, had seen these gaps in care before. But this time, she chose to act. That day, she made a vow—to continue the love, service, and legacy of her mother in a structured, lasting way.
And so, Iris Promise was born.
Since that day, the organization has grown into a full nonprofit operation serving hundreds across Jamaica. With a strong base in the Jamaican diaspora, Iris Promise bridges borders and builds hope—clinic by clinic, soul by soul.

Iris Plunkett was not wealthy. But she was one of the richest people her children and community ever knew—rich in faith, love, discipline, and generosity.
Her legacy continues in every child that receives care, every elder whose wound is treated, and every smile restored by the work of Iris Promise.

Donna Wilson’s life and career have always revolved around care. A highly skilled nurse with experience in both hospital and community settings, Donna founded Iris Promise as a tribute to the most selfless woman she ever knew—her mother, Iris.
Her clinical expertise, strong leadership, and deep personal commitment fuel the organization’s operational success. From volunteer coordination to clinic planning and on-ground logistics, Donna ensures that Iris Promise runs with purpose, precision, and
heart.
Donna continues her mother’s mission, not just in action—but in spirit.
