“Caring for others has always been at the center of my life. As a registered nurse, I’ve spent years working in hospitals and communities, helping people heal with dignity. But Iris Promise is more than just my profession — it’s my heart.
I founded Iris Promise to honor the most selfless woman I have ever known — my mother, Iris. She taught me that true love is measured by what we give, not by what we have.
Every clinic we run, every supply we deliver, every wound we tend — I see my mother’s spirit in it. I carry her legacy forward with every decision I make, from coordinating volunteers to organizing clinics and managing logistics on the ground.
This isn’t just my work. It’s my promise to continue serving the poor, the forgotten, the hurting, just as my mother did. With purpose. With precision. And always, with heart.

I lead the charge in building strong relationships that fuel our mission. As Chief Fundraiser and Director of Strategic Partnerships, I connect with individuals, businesses, and community organizations who want to make a meaningful impact. I don’t just raise funds — I build bridges. Every conversation, every partnership, every dollar raised brings us one step closer to healing lives in Jamaica. For me, this work is personal, powerful, and full of purpose."

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
I oversee the financial health and accountability of Iris Promise. As CFO, I manage budgets, monitor spending, and ensure that every dollar is tracked with integrity. I make sure our resources directly support the people and programs that need them most. My goal is simple: to protect the mission by making smart, transparent financial decisions every step of the way.

Community Outreach Coordinator
I build relationships where they matter most — in the heart of the community. As Community Outreach Coordinator, I listen, connect, and respond to the real needs of the people we serve. I work to ensure our programs reach those who need them, and that every interaction reflects the compassion and care that Iris Promise stands for. For me, outreach isn’t just a role — it’s a calling to walk alongside others with love and respect.

Donor Relations Officer
I make sure our donors feel valued, informed, and deeply connected to the impact they’re making. As Donor Relations Officer, I build relationships with the individuals and partners who fuel our mission. I share updates, express gratitude, and ensure that every supporter knows their gift is changing lives. For me, it’s not just about fundraising — it’s about honoring trust with transparency and care.
Janel Lingo Reid
Procurement & Inventory Manager
I make sure we have exactly what we need — when and where we need it. As Procurement & Inventory Manager, I source essential medical supplies, track our inventory, and coordinate shipments from the U.S. to Jamaica. I take pride in knowing that every item I prepare helps someone heal. Behind every clinic and every patient served, I’m working to keep our shelves stocked and our mission moving.

I coordinate clinical care on the ground in Jamaica, ensuring every patient is treated with dignity and professionalism. As Clinical Coordinator, I work closely with our visiting teams and local partners to organize care, manage patient flow, and uphold the high standards Iris Promise is known for. Director of Operations and Logistics
I keep our mission moving — literally. As Director of Operations and Logistics, I manage the behind-the-scenes work that powers our clinics, from organizing supplies to coordinating transportation and timelines. I make sure every detail lines up so our teams can focus on what matters most: delivering care. I serve because I believe in doing good with excellence and heart.
Majorie Royes
Caregiver, Jamaica
I care for patients with patience, kindness, and respect. As a caregiver in Jamaica, I assist with wound care, hygiene, and comfort for those who are hurting and in need. I do this work because I believe everyone deserves to feel valued and cared for — no matter their condition or circumstance.
Geraldine Llanura
Executive Director
I lead our organization with vision, discipline, and heart. As Executive Director, I oversee programs, guide our team, and ensure that every decision aligns with our mission to serve the underserved. I work to strengthen partnerships, expand our reach, and uphold the legacy of compassion that Iris Promise was built on. Every day, I strive to turn purpose into action and vision into impact.
Medical Director (To Be Announced)
I lead our clinical mission with compassion and excellence. As Medical Director, I set the standards for patient care, oversee our medical protocols, and support our health teams in the field. I ensure that every treatment we provide is safe, professional, and delivered with dignity. I do this work because I believe healing should be accessible to everyone — especially those who are too often left behind.

Longtime friends from Ferncourt High School, Donna, Georgia, Janel, Bryony, and Yvette now serve together through Iris Promise, turning friendship into a force for healing.
